Two people go to engineering school to follow their dreams of building and creating things. It was at this very school that each met their soul mate. Jake and Laura’s wedding began at St. John Catholic Church (Jake’s family church in Davison Michigan). It was a beautiful fall day with a bit of a crisp in the air like any October day would have. A little snow flurries early in the day didn’t last long and made for a beautiful story of how the white flakes hit the car on the way to the church. After the ceremony we found a park with the most beautiful trees that had just turned shades of yellow, orange, and red. Finally we celebrated at the Summerset Inn in Troy while most people were trying to pretend they weren’t watching the UofM vs MSU game on their smartphones. At one point during dinner the music was playing softly and everyone was enjoying the meal when a table in the middle of the room erupted with excitement for the play that happened at the very end of the game. The dancing concluded with the most awesome version of Magic Carpet Ride. The images below only tell part of this awesome story. Congratulations Jake and Laura, it was an honor to share in your wedding day.
