Wedding days are busy. Very busy. You can get caught up in the hustle and bustle and forget the reason for being there in the first place. You’re marriage. You’ll visit with your guests and talk to as many friends and family as you can. They are there to celebrate with you. Everyone wants your attention to congratulate or celebrate with you in some way. Your photographer will be working with you to capture as much as possible. Videographer may take some time to make sure your story is told in the right way. Make sure you take some time together to absorb what happened and talk to each other about the day. I’ve caught brides and grooms on a balcony looking down at their reception enjoying the time alone with each other. Whenever you can schedule it, I recommend finding some alone time together to reflect and enjoy the moment.

If you decide to have a first look then that’s a perfect time to have together. The reception after your dances have taken place is a great time to spend together. Find a quiet place or secluded place to spend together just the two of you.
