The wedding album is an important part of the whole wedding process, and it becomes the showcase of your wedding for many years to come. It’s a treasure that will sit on your coffee table for a long time, so it’s important to get it right. When I married my bride, I never thought of the importance of the album. I just thought of it as this huge book of beautiful pictures. Sure it was beautiful and heavy, but I didn’t realize the lifelong part of the deal at the time. I didn’t realize that every now and then I would catch my kids going through the pages. They see what our big day was like. They see the love in our eyes and the emotion of the day. They get to see how the story of the day unfolded in the pages of that album. I find myself flipping through the pages often and remembering the stories of the day. Like when I threw the garter and it stuck to the ceiling, or when I danced with my bride to our song in front of our friends and family, or how young we looked. For this is why I think the wedding album is a real treasure.
