The most amazing second shooter, My bride
July 12, 2009I was standing at the alter with my hands folded in front of me with my father to my right and my mother to my left. I was about to merry my soul mate. She was about to come through the church doors and my world would change forever. I wasn’t nervous, I had a smile on my face and I was excited. Just then, the doors of the church swung open and there she was. I turned to my mother and said “that’s my bride.” Julie entered the room with the most amazing smile on her face wearing the most beautiful wedding gown I had ever seen. This was Julie. This was my bride.
I still call her my bride today, because I still remember that moment the doors swung open. Julie joined me at the last wedding as a second shooter and she was amazing. We had so many comments from attendees about how well we work together and I really enjoyed working with her. She seemed to anticipate what needed to be done and it just worked well. This was a photo from the rehearsal where she was letting me know it was raining. Isn’t she beautiful?
