Shot of a lifetime

I recently posted on Twitter that I took the shot of a lifetime at the wedding in Traverse City, and today I thought I would share it with you.    I saw this photograph in my head during the reception and I had to pull the bride and groom (Ken and Melissa) outside for a quick shot.  They were happy to oblige and we got this amazing shot.

I really love this shot, but what I like even more is the photograph that was sent to me today by Jason (the best Man).  Here’s how he saw the shot above.

I gotta give Jason a huge thank you for this image.  Jason, you have mad skilz!

Very serendipitous that we shot photos at the same moment. Mine’s a snapshot, while yours is clearly photographic art.

Ed- you have the most amazing photographic eye, and Ken and I were very lucky to have you be the photographer at our wedding! Thank you for capturing our day!

Ed You and Julie were amazing at how you both worked and captured the day on film. The pics are super and we are having a hard time selecting which ones to chose.
