Photographing weddings is my passion. The privilege of telling the wedding day story with the camera comes with experiencing the whole range of human emotion. Getting ready on the day of is usually a nervous, excited time where the anticipation of being with the man or woman of your dreams is about to become reality. During the ceremony I watch as the nerves transition to glee and elation and pure love. The reception is where all fear is gone and the celebration begins. I’m a self proclaimed wuss. I cry when a bride and groom are holding hands and saying their vows. As a father of a little girl, I cry during the Daddy Daughter dance. I’m an observer of smiles and will be known to lift my camera as fast as possible to capture them. There’s nothing like capturing a genuine smile on camera.
