She won’t cross the line on her electric fence even without here collar on. She’ll sit there and bark until you touch her, and then she feels it’s safe to come down to the water for fun. Meet Nikki the other wonder mutt. You may remember her from my blog a year ago. The family of this dog is headed on a new adventure in their lives and I was happy to take these photos (and several others) at their home yesterday for the family. Here’s a shot of Nikki sitting in her favorite spot (just before the electrical dog fence.) When telling the story of this golden retriever, it has to include a picture of her sitting in this very spot.

Here she is looking at me with a very shallow depth of field. I think she wanted me to throw her a stick, but instead I was pointing a lens in her face.

This next shot was not intentional, but I love it just same. Nikki got just a little too close to the camera on this one distorting her face in a funny way.

I couldn’t resist posting this photo either. I think the tongue makes the shot.
