The way they looked at each other while they spoke was what did it for me. I knew I wanted to be their wedding photographer when I met them in Plymouth Michigan a few weeks ago. They sat on the couch at the local Panera bread and we discussed their wedding. As we talked about their engagement and their wedding, they would both look at each other with a sense of awe and comfort. It said to me that these people really want to be together for the long haul, and I wanna be there when they tell the world.

This weekend we met at the Nichols Arboretum (The Arb for short) in Ann Arbor Michigan for their engagement photos.

The world famous squirrel sculptures of the Arb. Ok, maybe not world famous, but we thought they were great.

When they drove up to the parking lot, I could hear the rumble of the engine from this Chavelle before they got there. I knew it had to make an appearance in the photo shoot.
