I recently posted on Twitter that I took the shot of a lifetime at the wedding in Traverse City, and today I thought I would share it with you. I saw this photograph in my head during the reception and I had to pull the bride and groom (Ken and Melissa) outside for a quick shot. They were happy to oblige and we got this amazing shot.
I really love this shot, but what I like even more is the photograph that was sent to me today by Jason (the best Man). Here’s how he saw the shot above.

They said “I do” next to the bay in Traverse City and we had the most amazing day. The clouds parted, the wind stayed calm, and the wedding was a success. I am busy going through all these images and will have a full blog post soon, so enjoy these images from Saturday’s wedding.
Meet Miles. Miles had the distinct pleasure of carrying the rings down the eisle during yesterday’s beach wedding. The 4000 images from the wedding are currently downloading to my computer, so I thought I would share this gem from the rehearsal on Friday. Miles did NOT want his picture taken. When he saw the camera, he put his face down and ran away, so this capture was quite a challenge. I was up for the task and had no problems finding a look that captured the real Miles. Stay tuned for a sneak peak from yesterday’s wedding. I’ve taken an initial review of the images and they are amazing!!! I can’t wait to share them with you.
