While editing weddings today I came across this series of photographs.  This is me hard at work at a recent wedding.   (Special thanks for this photo goes to the most awesome second shooter in the world.)  I was playing the face game with the ring bearer.  Show me a sad face, show me a happy face, show me a serious face, cover your face, uncover your face.  Somewhere in the mix I get a great natural smile or expression out of it.

Fall is one of my favorite times of the year for photography. The leaves, the temperature, the sunlight is lower in the sky. Everything about it is great, except for the unpredictable weather. Two days before this family portrait session it rained and rained, and I wasn’t sure we would be able to make it work. However, on Sunday morning the sun came out and it turned out to be the perfect day for photography.
